So they are calling prison cell mates "wife" now? I can't ever keep up with this new "hip" lingo.

"Robinson"--"MY unfortunate condition"...what, that I'm in prison? What the hell are you talking about? And he IS making a joke of rape...how can YOU not see that? Oh yeah, you're fifteen years old and your abstract thinking skills are not fully developed. Silly boy.

EDIT--Robinson-he is making a joke...about rape...put the two together. Any "joke" about it IS a trivialization...again, can't you see that? OF COURSE I don't REALLY think he's "in prison"...are you serious? It was a tongue in cheek way of deflecting HIS offensive statement; to turn it around on him. As smart as you may think you are, your age DOES present certain limitations, regardless of I.Q. Do some research on this...there are parts of your brain that are not yet fully formed, and they won't be for a few more years. This is purely physical. However, you are right, I should have taken the high road, despite YOUR "Ad hominem" attack.

Wendy G, he wasn't referring to your unfortunate condition, he was referring to realizing that he was in bed with a dirty radical feminist. Come on, couldn't you divine that from the question? I'm ashamed of you.

EDIT: Baba Yaga... what? How is he trivializing rape? He's basically making a joke about how feminists are beasts, not trivializing rape...
I do "read, read, and read some more." It's just about all I do, that and post some rants on Yahoo! Answers. You may believe it is trivializing rape, but it is nothing more than an assumption that that was the poster's intention; the scenario I posited is more likely, from what I can tell.

EDIT II: Wendy, I'm hurt. In case you want to know, I'm actually 16, not 15. The only reason why I made that statement was because YOU initially made an offensive one; how do you have any proof that this guy is in jail? Oh, that's right, you don't. It's called character defamation, Wendy G; I thought women were supposed to be so mature in handling their tempers, especially such a sensible one as yourself. In any event, though, no matter what you or Baba Yaga say, I believe the poster is making a joke, NOT trivializing rape. The poster probably realizes that real rapes are disgusting and wrong but understands at the same time that there are so many women out there that pump out false rapes that it gets to the point where it's easy to become frustrated. Bigotry is fun, I'm sure, but some of us "15 year old boys" have the sense to realize that it is NOT equivalent to truth.

Oh yeah, and in case you weren't aware, Wendy dear, lots of studies point to the fact that men have advanced "Abstract thinking skills" in relation to women, especially those at the genius end of the scale. I happen to have at least a 140 IQ (as checked when I was 12) so I'm pretty sure my abstract thinking skills aren't that weak. Nice try with the ad hominem, though! Keep it up and you might start believing it!

I know you're trying to be funny..and I even laughed a bit..but the truth is that the most effective way to make something okay is to associate it with humor.

REPORTED:

TRIVIALISING VIOLENT CRIME; this is HARRASSMENT of women in general, and rape victims in particular.

EDIT;
Robinson, if you can't figure out how such comments trivialise rape then I can't help you to become 'educated' on the matter. Read, read and read some more. Make sure your source is credible and authoritative.
