Is it just me...or has wrestling been getting really fake lately. I don't really watch much of it now....my brother does that's for sure...i dn't know I think I liked it the way it was 5 years ago.

Right it's not fake, there isn't a way to fall that doesn't hurt a bit. Scripted endings doesn't make the action fake. The way i look at it is a boxer doesn't have more than 8 fights a year but a wrestler has 300 shows a year. If they where trying to hurt each other it wouldn't be possible. It's a show and they are trying to entertain not hurt each other, its two performers trying to put on show. There is a degree of control in everything they do, landing safely and not drilling them on there head which could kill them, not intentionally anyways. They are improv actors who get one take to do there stunt 300 nights a year, every bump is the same as being hit by a car going 20mph a study found so its not fake its just done in a way to limit the damage. i won't explain how the moves are done, once you understand the idea i am trying to get across you can see it for yourself, you notice the sly block of a move and the rest.

Pro wrestling was always fake whether its wwe/tna or wsx
and promoters have never even claimed it to be a real sport
its all entertainment and it depends upon you whether u find it boring
It may be cuz your watching pro wrestling for a long time an u have just got bored
so give a break

it's always been fake. Pro-wrestling shows are just that, SHOWS strictly for entertainment. As for it looking faker now than it used to, perhaps the answer can be found in you. Maybe your perspective has changed and now it looks fake to you. you said it yourself, you're not really into wrestling anymore, whereas in the past you were. So, being that you're not as into it as you were before, you're more likely to see the negative aspects than you were before.

you just now notice it has been that way for a long time i stop watching years ago when hulk hogan was wrestling just startedd watching again and it really looks fake now more than before

No it just got lamer. Story lines and rivalries drag on, they injure the most popular wrestlers and they also have the rivalries ALWAYS fighting eachother instead of fighting other wrestlers too.
It doesn't look fake though, and the acrobatics are amazing!

I know, i mean have you seen the way wrestlers in wwe punch no not like undertaker, undertaker is a real brawler. im sayin look how cena hits its like seeing a pussy wrestler hit another pussy wrestler. its a shame how wrestling has become but atleast we have tna,roh,and wsx.

YES! I've noticed its gotten more and more obvious that they're faking stuff... ECW used to be a little more real, but that's not like it used to be either
