It is South Carolina's right to fly their states flag. Hillary just stirring up the racial vote. I believe SC voted on it a few years back and lost. We don't ask NY to change their flag because we don't like the Greek goddess's on the flag?

It's none of Hillary's business. It is a symbol of heritage, and it is a proud heritage. We South Carolinians should be proud of our heritage. After all, most of our families have been here for over three hundred years. That's more than most yankees can say, except the last remaining bit of old New Englanders. I don't know why Dee F thinks that Jews are behind it, sounds like someone is a bit anti-semetic. There are more old Jewish families in Charleston than most other cities in the south and their ancestors were confederates. I don't think anyone is behind it except Hillary, just trying to get an issue to stand on.

Many people died under that flag in the civil war. It should remain a symbol of the south.

As for hillary....

Let's elect hillary and have another clinton make a joke out of the whitehouse.

nicely right here we bypass with yet another severe count to hand! i for my section think of that the accomplice flag could proceed to fly over precise any state domicile in the south inspite of what anybody says no count if that is civil rights communities or whom ever,This flag has been around for hundreds of years and could stay around for greater centuries back, I help what the flag stands for yet what i do no longer help is the way particular communities of ppl use the flag for racism or regardless of the case possibly, Many adult men and girls to boot in this era shed blood for this flag because of the fact they became into scuffling with for what they theory became into top, i do no longer see how or why anybody would prefer to do away with from historic previous that belongs to the south, If ever the accomplice Flag could fly not greater then that's going to be a tragic day in hstory for actual southerners.Proud supporter of the accomplice Flag. background no longer Hate.

The Confederate flag is a symbol of rejection and rebellion, this is the USA not the CSA, the South needs to accept that.

I say keep the damn flag! Those colors don't run! It's just like I say there is no harm wearing the Dixie Outfitter shirts in school. More power to the people who wear them

That is part of the state and southern history.
People should get over it. It just isn't that big of a deal.

Personally, I think Lincoln was a terrible president.
Couldn't keep the union together.
He should have let the south go. It would only be a matter of time before they came back anyway.
