my civics teacher tells us this story about ghosts that he swears is true, then gives us a bunch of factual information. a bunch of people on this site have stories about their encounters with ghosts. i know people who swear on their lives they've seen ghosts. but the whole idea is so ridiculous! it's like believing in santa claus!

Yes and no. Logically, I know they can't possibly be real; but when I'm sitting by myself and reading "true" ghost stories (I love those), every little creak makes my neck hairs stand up.

I do. Souls that linger or are lost. I do not believe half the stories people tell - but I do believe in lost souls. I believe a spirit is an entirely different thing & a poltergeist is entirely different from both of those things. I don't dwell on it however and I'm not all that fasinated by it - but yes, I think they do exist.

Keep sleeping with the light on and you will see for your self. Ghosts do not care whether or not you believe in them, they will suck your soul regardless of the fact. I am joking about the soul sucking thing, but ghosts are real and if you sleep with the lights on long enough you will see them.

Actually, if you want to spend a little money, and take a trip down to oahu one of the islands in hawaii *My home* and camp out on one of the Nightmarcher trails you'll end up believing in ghosts as well... *one of the more famous places is pali road*
Nightmarchers- Marchers of the Night, also known as Huaka'i Po and the Night Marchers, are ghost warriors of high rank. They march on certain nights to welcome new warriors or to march to old battle grounds. They permit no disturbances from mortals and if you look into their eyes or stand in their way they take your soul from you and you are dead. It is easy to recognize them for they pound drums, carry torches, chant and their feet don't touch the ground.

Ghosts r kind of like god and heaven and aliens...I'm not going to say that they don't exist but i sure as hell ain't gonna say they do exist...any thing is possible,the fact is no one has proof of it! The only thing i know for sure is that i personally have never seen one.

I don't know. Sometimes it seems like it, but later it seems ridiculous. We have no proof just like we don't with people like God, Aliens, and Rudolph!
