I think that the confederateflag is nothing but a symbol of hate.

Barack Obama has called for the Confederate flag to be removed from State House grounds.
Sen. Joe Biden lead a push to remove the Confederate flag from the South Carolina State House grounds and Barack supported him.
In general, though, it's hard to say. I would imagine he is for letting people fly it if they would like to fly it, but would be against what it stands for.

Who cares? I think that we should be more concerned about his ability to run the country and know what's best for it. Whether or not he opposes the Confederate Flag has nothing to do with anything.

Despite Revisionist history to the contrary, the Civil War was not fought over slavery and most of the men who fought for the Confederate side were not slaveowners.
Many Black men volunteered and fought for the Confederacy, as did many Jews. Only modern day klansmen and skinheads have made this flag one of hatred. To let them destroy a proud symbol of American heritage is a crime. I hope Hitlery burns in hell.

Does it really matter? We should be asking questions that concern his ability to run the country, not whether or not he likes to wear pink shirts, or likes the same flag someone else does.

I don't know that he's ever been asked to comment on it. Illinois isn't a big place for Confederate flags.
