It's just like a sudden pinch. Not bad at all. The anticipation is probably the worst. Make sure you're committed to cleaning them as often as directed if you do decide to get that done. Otherwise, they will get infected and that will really hurt. Good luck.

You're going to feel something, trust me on that. Usually ear lobes are a quick pinch and sting and that's that, but everyone is different, so no one can tell you what it will feel like for you.
In my opinion, as someone with 26 piercings and years of piercing experience (as a piercee and professional piercer) just wait a few more years until you are older. Trust me, you'll be more relaxed about having it done and you might even change your mind or decide you want other piercings. Plus, as a minor its essentially up to you parents/legal guardian if you can get the piercing done since they have to be present for the piercing and sign consent forms.
To put icing on the cake, you are probably too young to know the sense to have your ears pierced by a professional piercer and not by some 16 year old who works at Claire's and uses a piercing gun.
Piercing guns are not suitable for any piercing and the studs are not good either.

It only hurts for a couple of minutes, and then can be a tiny bit sore for a few days until the holes heal a bit. If you take care of them as directed, it shouldn't cause any more pain after that.
I am 38 now and had my ears pierced way back when I was in 3rd grade. I hardly noticed the pain at all. Paper cuts are much worse, I think.

I got my ears pierced for my 10th birthday. it really doesn't hurt much. I bearly felt a thing. What they did for me was you picked out some earings and they clean off your earlobe with some alchol wipes, then they got this thing that looks like a staple gun and they pierce your ears. The earings you can choose from have sharp backs so they will pierce your ear and put on the earings all at once.
This probably sound a little strange, but thats what they did to me and my ears didn't hurt at all. so don't worry if it helps take a friend with you and get it done together.

Just a pinch. I had both of my ears pierced, then they closed up, then I pierced them again. Then I pierced the top of my ear. If it hurt THAT much, I wouldn't have done it so many times. It's scary before you get it, but then it's no big deal. I had my ears pierced when I was like 7 or 8. You just feel a bit of pressure and a pinch like on St. Patrick's day. Tweezing eyebrows is worse.

It's not that bad. I got my ears pierced when I was really little, and all it was, was a pinch and then it was practically over. (it might hurt a bit a couple minutes later, but you'll forget about it)

Trust me, it's worth it.
You'll worry about it until you get it done.
The actual piercing doesn't hurt that badly, but an hour or two later your ears might sting a bit, but it'll go away in another few hours.

Personally, I dont think it hurts too bad. It itches more than it hurts. It is worth it!! It also depends if they use a gun or a needle. I got mine done with a gun, I heard that it hurts if you get it done with a needle. You will be fine! Hope this helps! GOOD LUCK =)
