I never think age should matter to outsiders if the two people are happy together. My husband was close to my age and I was very unhappy. There is 11 years difference between my second partner and myself and we both wish we had met years ago. He is my soulmate. The thing is to be mature enough to ignore other people's interference. Or don't even tell them your ages, many people look old or young for their age and you cannot even guess how old they are. Good Luck:)

I don't think there's anything wrong with age when both are consenting, mature adults. I, for example, am a 33 year old woman. My fiance is 23. We have been together for almost a year and we are very happy. We don't have issues with the age difference, in fact, we hardly ever think about it. Its when other people mention it that it seems like a big deal. Its not a big deal to US and that's who matters....the ppl who are in the relationship, no one else.

No difference at all. My soul connected with someone I became best friends with. We were friends for a long time then got together. She's great and a lot of fun and a lot of times I can't keep up with her. She's much younger (in the good way) then her age and our life together is happy and she'll always be the most beautiful and desirable woman in the world to me. I'm 26 and she's 47. Be happy and have a great life.

Not at all... Since you are both adults, it is compatibility that matters most. I am 40, and my fiancee is just shy of 31. I am Canadian and she is Japanese, but in spite of these apparently big differences, they very seldom ever enter the picture... When you meet someone with whom your really and truly bond, then 10 years difference is a very trivial matter, it seems to me. The best of luck to you!!

If they care about each other that age differance is nothing due to the maturity they both should have bt now. It can be very good.. My grandfather was15 yrs older . They were married 60 yrs.

The only thing that matters is their relationship. Age is only numbers. They both have lived enough to know what they want and how to accomplish their goals, both within a relationship and within their own lives. They will be fine.
