The media is a brain washing machine, look at what is on every news channel every minute of the day all you see is hate and murder in the name of religion, you good (majority) Muslims must stand up and take back your religion that has been hijacked by the extremists, once you promote peace on a large scale on a daily basis you can change things, in numbers you have the power, you are the only ones that can beat back this wave of hate and murder in the name of Islam.

Your millions and millions of good and peaceful people world wide must unite and spread the word that peace and compassion is the real Islam and denounce the fanatics that are abusing your religion.

im muslim too and its a common thing unfortunatly. when people make comments like some answered your question it shows how stupid, uneducated, and ignorant most people are. people are trying to blame a religion for the actions of few. osama bin ladden can claim that he is a muslim but he isnt. he is nothing more than a hateful hypocrite. Islam means peace and if people would learn about our religion they would know he was not a true muslim. but of course people dont look. they dont care they listen to the media feed them garbage. so they stereotype and they hate and teach their kids to hate complete strangers and the cycle continues. it was done to jewish people for hundreds of years. are all germans nazi's because of what hitler did, no, so why are all muslims terrorists. the Holy Roman Empire executed tons of people . the witch hunts killed hundreds even thousands of people across europe and the US. the Spanish inquisition killed thousands. and thats a small lists. how can a christian woman tell her son to hate me for being a muslim, when the bible teaches tolerance and forgiveness. people think they can hate and generalize about my religion without giving any thought to their own. don't say your a christian or a jew and then tell me that im a terrorist and that i should get the hell out of this country. you go against the very foundations of this country's constitution and agaisnt your own religious scriptures. your just as bad as bin Ladden you just haven't killed anyone yet.

Perhaps you and more Muslims should be condemning the Muslims doing terrorists killings more than other non-Muslims. You need to be loud and outspokenly against the killings done by Muslims terrorists. How do you feel when these terrorists are using the same Allah you pray to to kill in his name?

When people begin to see Muslims marching in the streets in protests to all the violence of the radical Muslims then perhaps a little more compassion will flow towards Muslims. What we see is a stupid old comic and people taking to the streets "Death to America". You've gotten some serious bad press there, and you need to show us you can be trusted.

some people are extremely judgmental, close minded, ignorant, and moronic....don't worry not everyone is like that...in my experience i have found that Muslims tend to be some of the most respectful and most peaceful people on the planet...

the western world just needs to wake up and actually educate themselves before judging others and making rash decisions...i guarantee you that 90% of the people that are mean to Muslims have never even spoken to one before.

There is a certain part of society who are programed to hate by right wing talk radio hosts like hannity, limbaugh, colter and right wing tv like fox news. They don't understand that not all muslims are terrorists and not all terrorists are muslims. It is not their fault so try to forgive them.

Anything outside the cons limited experience is automatically suspect. They don't trust books, they don't trust the media, they hate anything that isn't white bread with an american flag sticking out of it's head. In short, bigotry and xenophobia is de rigeur for them.
