Well considering that questions cost 5 points, yet result in 10 points, there is a marked overproduction of points. This oversupply of points, if continuing at its current rate of production, will send the Y!A economy into a downward spiral by the end of 2008, at which time the Y!A stock market will wither up and die. This devaluation of the point will cause the increase of question asking costs. The Y!A population will then demand a higher output of points from answering and Best Answers. This will continue to drive Y!A deeper and deeper into point poverty until it is classified as a third-world website.
So please, don't waste points. Don't contribute to point devaluation. Be a good Y!A citizen.
(lol... in case anyone didn't get it already...I'm not being serious.) :)

Of course not! And "waste" is such a subjective term, isn't it? I mean, I got a chuckle just from looking at your photo/avatar substitute so can we honestly say that you wasted points in asking this (or any other question) when your mere presence puts a smile on someones lips?

Crime, i doubt it, but i think the people at yahoo who thought this whole points system up are probably saying, "If u use up all ur points u won't be able to ask a ? when u relay need people (some of who have no clue) to answer it."

No, because once you get to level 7, the goal is to see how faxt you can go back to level 1 and then back to 7 again.
