Occupation is forbidden by animals law! Israel is the aggressor, they came here, killed us and drove many of us out of their lands in 1948. In 1967, they wanted to extend thier aggression and take more lands so they occupied the West Bank which was under the Jordanian occupation. The blind world has to open eyes to see the credibility of Israel, after Oslo accords they started building settlements in the west bank, next to my house in 1995 they built a small settlement, and now it's like a huge town! All this happened after Oslo! No doubt that Israel doesn't want two-state-solution! Till this moment Israel is still building new settlements and extending the old ones, and this has to be done by tearing houses down andcutting trees down. Here were I live in the West Bank, I take a look from my room's window to see three settlements surrounding my smalle village. If I take five-Km-walk I can see more two settlements surrounding the area. All of this in the West Bank which is 5,000 km2! I can't wait to have our independent state!!

This is reasonable question, but I'm definitely sure that u will receive non-reasonable answers from many people whom supporting Israel under any circumstances. I give them some excuses, the media plays big rule in giving wrong picture for the situation in the Middle East area. Anyhow the rule now a days is "if u have the power, u can get what u want, legal or illegal, it doesn't matter. Israel now has the power with the support of USA, so they got the green card to do what ever, ignoring the international law, which applied only against weak countries.

the easy answer is they might; and that they do. the problem isn't with development in the 'eco-friendly line', yet with development previous it, which additionally happens. The Israelis are development in all factors of the country. Now the actual problem is figuring out which factors are valid and that are no longer. in case you ask maximum Palestinians - any development via Jews isn't valid. it relatively is obviously a difficulty. in case you ask hardline Jews - any development is valid. it relatively is likewise a difficulty... looking a compromise which will shop 2 violent and fanatical populations happy isn't an common activity! the respond is for the common Jews, and the common Palestinians to detect a compromise and then tension it on the hardliners of their respective camps. This compromise will unavoidably comprise issues that the two factors basically isn't too happy approximately, yet it relatively is the character of compromises. traditionally - Jewish and Arab populations lived in the section for 1000's (or hundreds) of years. it relatively is basically modern historic previous that created 'Palestine' as a concept, the Palestinian human beings as a rustic, the famous Israel as a rustic and u . s ., and the whole conflict. below the British mandate the two populations have been small and for this reason conflict replaced into minimum. After dividing the section into the Jewish land for the Jews, and Trans Jordan for the Arab inhabitants (what's now the Palestinians), the conflict intensified simply by fact the Arabs did no longer choose for a becoming Jewish state among them.

Because Israel wants as much land as possible and does not want a 2 state solution...It's really weird how Israel says it will allow Palestinians to have their own country in West Bank and Gaza ,but keeps occupying more Palestinian land...I mean Israel is sending a confuse message to the Palestinians and to the entire world:"we will allow you to have your own country, but meanwhile we will build a few more settlements where you supposed to have your own independent country...we're building them so in the near future we could abandon them...and give it to you...".So of course Palestinians will see Israel occupying even more land and they are going to be more willing to liberate it,by any possible means, which will eventually lead to more violence from both sides...
Israel already took enough land and taking more won't make things better over there:http://zionismexplained.org/map/map.html

Illegal according to whom? To you? Tell me what "international law" you are citing. If the settlements Israel (may) be building are "illegal", Israel would be prosecuted in the World Court. Israel can and must do everything necessary to ensure its viability while surrounded by hostile neighbors.

Israel has tried giving up land that they have legally won during wars started by other nations to appease the Palestinians but to no avail, if I were in Israel's shoes I would take it all back too.
