I was in Munich, Germany last May and went into an Italian pizzeria. It was the best pizza I’ve ever had. It was amazing. Any ideas were to get a real Italian pizza?

~babysittingfool~ Southern Germany is a hop skip and a jump to Italy. The man, who owns the restaurant we went to, is from Italy. "I’ve had" pizza in Germany and this was different than anything I have ever had here or in Germany. Our German friend who has been to Italy said this was authentic Italian pizza. So what was with your snotty comment? It is awfully presumptuous of you to think that there was no way I could have had an authentic Italian pizza in Munich.

ROFLMAO Porkey’s pizza SUCKS!!! It is no better than Pizza hut or Dominos; it is CARDBOARD. Zito’s in Orange and Anaheim Hills is leaps and bounds over Porkey’s. There is no comparison!

I'm confused. You think the pizza you got in Munich was REAL Italian?? As compared to say, the pizza you'll find in Orange County??

Even pizza in Italy varies by region. I suggest you just enjoy the pizza for what it is . . . simple ingredients made simply. Personally, I like Porky's pizza . . . they do an amazing job with the crust. Nice and thick, crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside, and lots of air bubbles throughout. The ingredients are fresh, and the sauce is generous.
