I need help how do you feed your pets and are there any shops if so were are they

Cheat Gnome
Any time during gameplay press the following butons in succesion to get the corresponding effect.
Cheat Effect
L(2), R, A(2), D-pad Up Cheat Gnome
10,000 Additional Simoleons
Enable the "Cheat Gnome" code, then enter the code below while playing the game. An option to advance time by six hours will now appear on the Cheat Gnome. Select the Cheat Gnome, then cancel the selection. Enter the code again. A "Give Sim Simoleons" option should now appear.
Cheat Effect
Up, Left, Down, Right, R 10,000 Additional Simoleons
Advance Clock 6 Hours
Enable the "Cheat Gnome" code. Then enter this one.
Cheat Effect
Up, Left, Down, Right, R An option to advance time by six hours will now appear on the Cheat Gnome.

Buy a pet food dish bowl and fill it, if I am correct I think the GC is has the BUY MODE button like the PC

To get to Town Square go all the way to the end of the sidewalk by the green arrow and press a. it should say go to town square. at town square, you can buy anything you need for your pets (and some things for yourself).
