I mean, is it really necessary? If we didn't have money, there wouldn't be any poor people or rich people.

Everyone would be equal and it would decrease greed, plus it would also decrease crime dramatically because many people won't have any reason to rob a bank or rob a house for example.
Plus, people could also just go to their local supermarket, get the food they need and go home.

We should work on a new system that's more fair besides money. It's not fair for the people who lost their cash or were born poor. It's just not fair that they can't have, medical care, decent food, a nice home etc etc. because they don't have the money to get it.

I think if there wasn't money, we would live in a more peaceful and healthy world, like I mentioned, less crime, less greed, less poverty, less sick and starving people.

What do you think?

Money can be considered a synonym for resources... Money is just a representation of what you have or can have.. (John Law invented money)..

A number of people think that wealth is improperly distributed in the United States...

Ask any South American, they seem to be adopting a new economic system (called "socialism" or "communism").

You're not alone in your thoughts.

You ask a lot of intriguing questions.

Basically money is a convenience. It's easier to trade some paper and piece of metal ... or to slide plastic ... than to carry a train load of food or clothing or whatever you have to trade down to the car dealership to buy a new car.

Trade is unlikely to end because we all need leverage to get resources in exchange for our efforts. Money makes trade easier.

Rich and poor aren't linked only with money- they are linked with "stuff". Money without "stuff" is worthless.

If you eliminate the money, you'd still have to deal with stuff. If someone raised vegetables and another someone raised cattle they would want to come up with some fair way to trade their stuff. And if another guy lost all his stuff due to a hurricane or a disability, the first two guys would still have to decide if they want to help that guy by sharing their stuff.

The same problems would occur, we'd just need far larger wallets!

You are lookin at this in the wrong context...if it werent for money, there would be no increase, people wont work hard, and the value of things in itself wont increase, which doesnt help my black a.s.s thats for damn sure..

Ok, and if we didnt have money guess what, i t would be human nature to be competitive, and we will have something else to determine our worth...

Yes, money is necessary. It's the only means to barter for goods and services in the civilized world. If you lived in a remote area you could bargain back and forth with your neighbor by performing certain trades in return for what you need.
