how can i prepare for taks testing writing 4 tomorrow?

Here's a quick overview of things you need to remember to do well on the writing TAKS.

For short answers, remember to:
Answer the prompt.
Cite where you found the answer (direct quotes are best)
Explain why the citation supports your answer.
Give supported insight.

For the comparison short answer, remember to support your answer with evidence from BOTH passages!

For your essay, ANSWER the questions, use a personal example, add plenty of voice, vary sentence structure, and remember to have a solid thesis and conclusion. You have two pages to write on (no more)-- uses at least one of the pages.

Remember: get a good night's sleep, eat a good breakfast, and bring pencils, a jacket, and a book.
