My friend was over at my house and I asked him if he's seen a certain movie, he said he didnt and i told him I had it and i can lend it to him but he needs to return it in 2 days to the movie store. He said no but i insisted so he took the movie. He returned the movie 22 days late, should he be responsible for the late fees although i insisted that he should watch the movie?

If you were so insistant? That's a tough one. Maybe split the cost in half? Or, pay the whole thing, and next time, when he says no to taking a movie to return to the video store, please respect his answer. Take care..

yes you should because when you sign up for account in the fine print it says "no matter who is late with the movie, does not matter, the persons whos name is on the movie is charged" so you shouldnt have been stupid enough to lend a rented movie to an unreliable friend
