I have 4 nails that are "wavy" and the other 6 are just fine. What can I do to prevent the 4 nails from waving? I have tried lotion, nail polish that is suppose to build "hard" nails and nothing is working. I have to keep them all cut short as it is a real annoyance.

Your not getting the right vitamins and minerals in your diet. Start taking a multi vitamin, your nails will return to normal.

Yep - you need vitamins. May take some trial & error but I would suggest multi B & calcium in addition to a multiple vitamin. Takes a while to grow out properly. My daughter has this problem when she lets herself get run down with months of working on a large project.

Did you injure those 4 fingernails? It could be caused by a hit or some other injury..ask your doctor.

Odd... my boyfriend has this same problem, but he is on Avonex for his MS and we assumed it was from the medication!
