My brick stoop needs fixing up. It has weathered badly and I want to repair it and then build a deck over it. There are missing bricks and chunks of missing mortor.
I'm looking for suggestions about how to fix up the brick stoop. The only part that has to look decent is the top part because the bottom part will be hidden by the deck. I do want to weather proof the whole thing.

This should be done in 2 steps. Cover the step with even +
smooth strokes all over and let dry. Then put less then a half
an inch of more cement and place a thin sheet of flat stone or
some weather proof tiles. You'll love the rich and clean look.
This will add a rich look to your new patio. Good Luck.
