i have a friend like that and to be honest she isnt even close to hott. i have no idea what to say to her either. i guess we should just be honest with them.

Why would you want to tell someone they are ugly? Let her figure it out for herself. You don't really want to be the kind of person who goes out of her way to hurt people, do you? We all have our imperfections. We all need a little grace.

Don't say anything, sometimes the truth hurts too much. It can make her turn non-confident.
