I don't think it should be changed, who idea is that?

It shouldn't change.
Our national anthem is about how we didn't give up and buckle down to the British or we should cave to anyone.

Because it is a beautiful song that doesn't glorify war, unlike the Star Spangled Banner, and because it is easier to sing.

ours does extol the virtues of our u . s .. we are the land of the courageous, domicile of the free, we wrestle to grow to be effective and paintings our way up the social ladder as we did from colonies to a separate u . s .
