The snow just melted a couple weeks ago and the sun has been out. I would like to apply my 16-16-16 (triple 16) fertilizer but I am afraid may be too early. I am new homeowner.
Are there any other lawn maintenance duties I should be performing first?
Thanks in advance!

If you are new, go to a greenhouse. They have experts. Don't go to a lawn service. They may do a great job, but you can do just as well by yourself. What I do is the 4 holidays-Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Thanksgiving. My lawn is beautiful. I also use 12-12-12. It works well on the yard, and GREAT in my garden.- 2 for 1
