if the ringtones are not purchased and therefore locked, you can transfer them to another phone with bluetooth capability, you need to go to the unlocked ringtone you want to send and select options>copy>select yes when it asks you to temporarily pwr on bluetooth, then select look for devices, on the receiving end, you need to have that person goto menu>settings>connections>bluetooth connection>set up>find me. then it will ask to turn bluetooth pwr on, select yes, it will then be discoverable for 60 secs. thats when you look for devices on your phone, steps may differ slightly between phone models. hope this helps. but beware of what he said up there, if you select move as opposed to copy, it will delete if out of your sound library and put it in theirs, so you def want to hit copy.

We actually need a little more info than what you gave us.

The first two answers are not entirely correct.

If you have Verizon, you most likely have the OBEX profile disabled on your handset, and thus even after pairing, you will not be able to transfer files

If you have Cingular or T-Mobile or some other carrier where OBEX is not removed or locked, then you neeed only have the other phone (receiving) in pairing mode. Then pick the file you want, choose move, copy, or send, via bluetooth, and then it will find the other phone.

If the file you are trying to send was downloaded from the carrier you have, then it is likely DRM protected and will not be able to be sent, even if you have the OBEX profile.

There are alot of factors that go into it.

Make sure you have bluetooth on your phone... You find the ringtone that you are wanting to send the press menu then go down to copy or send then sat via bluetooth or it may already have your bluetooth list up the you make sure the person you are sending too has there bluetooth turned on. then you click look for devices when it find the device you want click on it then it will ask your friend to accept after they accept it will download.

You have to pair your phone with your friends. Go to the Bluetooth setting in your phone, find make "discoverable" tell your friend to do the same.

Find a pic, or ringtone that you want to send. Click on options, there should be one for "send" or "copy". You should be able to choose "bluetooth".

FYI--Some carriers such as Verizon do not allow you to transfer ringers or pics via bluetooth.

*Go into your bluetooth link and connect (find me) your blue tooth as well as your friends.

*Once the two have found each other you are then able to move music, pics and more to your friends phone or to your phone.
