Okay I'm a junior in highschool, and so far I've taken Fashion Marketing andFamily & consumer Science and Computer Apps I, Web design and Multimedia. My future plans are to go into college pursuing some type of degree as afashion buyer. I just want to know what I'm suppose to major in and the best colleges out there for that career field. However, I am very interested in FIT in Manhattan, NY. I would also like to get a degree in buisness (is that neccesary dor fashion buyer) I need help it's time to start applying for colleges and I'm stuck...please help!

You're supposed to major in business with a focus on logistics. A business degree is necessary for a fashion buyer, and a fashion design degree is not. A good business school in NY is NYU, and they specialize in the less typical businesses like fashion and media.

Kent State has a fashion design program, and is quite good as far as I remember.
