Does anyone know the cause of Mike Awesome's death?

So far they think it was suicide since his friends found him hanging at his house, but there is going to be a full investigation to make sure was no foul play. Here is a small article I found.
At about 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night, friends were going to his home in Tampa, Florida to pick him up and go out. He never answered the door and they found him hanging in the home. The death is believed to be due to suicide pending results of the autopsy.

Awesome was found dead on February 17, 2007 in the Tampa area. A group of friends who were coming to his home to pick him up and go out found him hanging in his home. It is believed his death a suicide

It appears to be suicide. They found him hanging in his home. Very sad.
