First off...Paul Kariya..
But no, Forsberg with trouble with his foot will not outshine Kariya, It is probably a good move for him, he won't be expected to carry this team and can become more of a role player in a playoff run and should do well.
His foot is going to be the issue, but when he's in contention to actually do something with this team, I'm sure he'll rise to the occasion even if its not as good as his true glory days.

Peter needs to take a year off...again. He needs to get his foot/ankle back to where he can skate uninhibited. He's holding back because of the pain and it has seriously jeopardized his ability to play. He is one of the best ever to lace up the skates, but this is just one of those things that will never go away unless he takes the time to let it heal. Maybe then he can do what Selanne is doing and have a resurgance at a later day.

Forsberg wants to play for a winner, but his body won't cooperate. He can outshine Kariya any given night, better if they shine together.

lol Korea... it's Kariya. And Forsberg, not Foresburg.
Anyway, no, I don't think Forsberg will do well with the Preds. All he'll do is force the opposing team to put out their top guys more often to try and stop him.

If Forsberg can stay healthy, he will be better than Kariya. Even hurt he is a better all around player than Kariya. The only way he will truely help the Preds is if he shakes what those goons in Philly have taught him!!!!!

You have to be able to skate to play hockey. At the present time he's having trouble skating. He even went overseas to have a special boot made for his foot and hes still struggling. Until he heals he will only help in a leadership role.

If he plays, certainly, he will be a factor.
