It depends on what season it is, the weather, etc...but yes, Fridays are still considered a busy day. Not as bad as Saturdays, but still...
On an off-season, it's not SO bad.
My suggestions if you want to visit on a Friday: Go on an off-season (like right NOW, before Spring Break hits), and get to the park as soon as it opens. It's less crowded in the morning and starts to get more and more crowded as the day goes on. Also, rainy days in an off-season are the best time to go! =)

Yes that is the start of the weekend. The best days to go are Tuesday's and Wednesday's. Monday is okay, but I have had better luck on Tuesday's and Wednesday's to get on rides and shop with less people in the park. There are still a lot of people just not as many as on the weekend.

Yes. It won't be as many as a Saturday or Sunday but more than Monday through Thursday.
The morning will be about normal for a weekday, but it will get busier during the day. It will especially start to get busy in the afternoon when all of the locals start to come for the evening.

Most definetly alot of people go on fridays because its the end of the week so many people dont go anywere that isnt relaxing and fun to just hang out with the family and friends.

oh heck yes especially after 4 pm a lot of people go there that day of the week and of course sat n sun are crowded as heck no mater what time of yr it is!! alot of us calif residents have annual passes and so expect to see a lot of students there on fri nites~

Try to go during the week otherwise, you could end up waiting an hour or more for each ride.
They have discounts if you go during the week also. And... help you avoid waiting in line forever, look into "FAST PASS."

Dude...EVERYSINGLE DAY..it don't matter WHAT the hell day it is..there are wall to wall, shoulder to shoulder people!! By 2:00p.m., you can barely even move..let alone, breathe! I know, cuz I just got back from there! They should put a limit on how many people enter the park on a given day! Cuz it was RIDICULOUS!!! $124.00 for 1day adult ticket dont buy **** when lines are 2hours long!!!

I THINKS SO BECAUSE EITHER FRIDAY SATURDAY OR SUNDAY THE GIVE PARADES AND THE FIREWORKS BECAUSE WHEN I WENT I DONT KNOW IF IT WERE ON SOME OTHER DAY BUT ALL I KNOW IS THAT THEY ARE OPEN LATER AT NIGHT
