5-11, Jackson, only started 1 game and has no receivers. Taylor isn't that great, and offensive coordinators how to get past their defense...passing.

Detroit's in their division, so that's 2 wins right there.
Chicago's in their division, so that's 2 losses right there.
In '04, they played against the NFC East, so I expect that to be the case in '07. That's another win (Washington) and 3 losses (the rest of the division) for a total of 3-5 thus far.
In '03, they played against the AFC West, so I expect that to be the case in '07. That's a fourth win (Oakland) and another 3 more losses (the rest of the division), making the record thus far 4-8.
To reach .500, they need to win all 4 games I didn't yet mention, and 2 of those games are against Green Bay. As for the other 2 games, the Vikings finished third in their division, so those remaining games are against the third-place teams in the NFC South (Atlanta) and NFC West (San Francisco).
If nothing changes this offseason, I predict a 5-11 finish. Of course, Minnesota could improve, which would result in a better record... or the teams on their schedule (excluding Detroit and Oakland) could improve, which would result in a 3-13 season (and that would only be bad enough for the 3rd overall pick in the '08 Draft, as tiebreakers would work against them in that case).

The vikings have a tough non confernece scheudle they play kansas city, San diego and who ever else is in there division but with having some cap space they will bring in some wide outs hopefully a playmaker and have good draft picks so id say around 8-8 to 10-6 record thier defense is straight now just get a consistent qb and they will be wild card /playoff bound

I'd say 5-11. I hate to be so pessimistic because I really like the Vikes but as the saying goes, things will get a little worse before they get better. They will be back but not for at least a couple of years.

I love the VIKINGS & every year I think they could win every game.
but really if they start the season with Jackson at QB & the same WRs. with Childress calling plays they could go 2-14

7-9, maybe 8-8 since that division is not the strongest.
