Water pressure increase beyond 23 lbs as prescribed on the tank. This is for and outside well .?

The water pressure in our house seems to be weak. I was wondering if it's possible to increase the water pressure in the tank. The tank says pressure should be 23 lbs.

you can raise the water pressure the 23lbs pressure on the tank is for the air charge in and empty tank

23 psi sounds pretty low. I would contact the manufacturer though, before increasing the pressure. That wording on the tank is there for a purpose. You might ask the manufacturer what the burst pressure of the tank is, and not go more than halfway to that pressure.
