It could be a few things -infection or torsion or even refered pain(that means the pain is coming from somewhere else like kidney or lower abdomen)
Are you in the UK you could always try ringing NHS 24 as they can advise over the phone and get him an appointment with a Dr tonight if necessary.
Tell him not to worry about going to the Dr's.I have worked in A&E and now in a Dr's surgery and believe me a painfull testical is absolutley nothing to feel embarased about, it's really common and usually easily sorted out

Testicle cancer is on the rise in males in the last 3 years, the reason it goes to far is because men with genital issues are less inclined to seek medical advice due to embarresment. Doctors are professionals and deal with situations like this all the time. I have a friend who had similar pains, and now has only one ball, he left it nearly a year before he couldnt stand it any longer and went to a doctor,it was cancer, it was to late. Whether ur boyfriends pain ends up being nothing or something at least he would know for sure if he got medical help......goodluck with ur situation

my boyfriend has this problem on a regular basis.
I keep telling him to go the doctors, last week he finally mustered up the courage and phoned but there was no appointments so we are back to square 1.
My boyfriend had a vasectomy in 1998,since then he has had a lot of problems with ejaculation and pain in his left ball.
Your boyfriend needs to go the doctors and it will be very difficult getting him there,if he wont go you could always get advice for him.
Ask him to phone the nhs line if he wont go to the doctors, that way he wont have the embarrassment of going the doctors

Tell him not to be embarassed and go and see his GP. It's probaly nothing. Testicular cancer is unlikely but possible, and it can start as early as late teens, but if rarely fatal if caught early. More likely to be a twisted tube which can be sorted with manipulation.

Only one way to find out for sure - call his doctor, make an appointment, and drag him down there.

He could have a twisted tube, or even cancer. Tell him to get over his sad little butt, and get in to the doctor now. Call his mom.
Then think about breaking up with him. Do you really want to be with someone who is SUCH a little boy that he can't have the doctor examine his testicle?

It could be any number of things including the possibility that it got twisted and the blood supply to it is pinched. Have him go to the doctor and get checked out.
If he doesn't want to go, tell him to picture having only one ball. That should get him motivated.

Could be anything from Testicular Cancer to a mild inflammation of the urethra.
My advice is for him to go see a urologist.

Get him to check in the shower for any unusual shape to his Testicles, if he finds one, go to doctor immediately, well get him to dry off and get dressed first.

Ok, this doesnt sound like im being serious but i am......my husband gets it too and believe it or not, its when they havnt had sex. If you give him sex then it relieves the pain, give it a go cause i would also like to know whether it does actually relieve the pain or whether he just wants sex, lol. But he seems pretty serious. Hope thats all it is lol!!! good luck to both of you. XXX

my bro had this...the doctors couldnt find anything wrong and it was only one ball....took months and the pain became agony so that he couldnt walk....they ended up giving him an operation to check for cancer and cut the one ball off.....thankfully he didnt have cancer and since then the pain has gone AND his wife is pregnant since which is great as if worst comes to worst it wont effect your chances of having kids....good luck

I have no idea but that is not normal. He needs to see a doctor or at least call the emergency room and see what they can tell you.
