I love designer purses! I collect all kinds. I know some women out there can't afford the real kind & just end up buying a "replica" or a "look alike". I wanted to ask you, does it really matter to you whether or not you get a FAKE Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, Gucci or whatever you like. It's all in the matter of being able to afford it, but what do you feel about owning a FAKE designer purse? if someone tells you your purse is nice & ask you where you got it from, do you lie & say it's real designer or do you openly say "it's FAKE"? does it matter to you?

Hi Sugar Bear.
It doesn't matter to me. I would rather invest in a good replica and have several than dump a ton of money into the real thing. Purses are so trendy and go out of style so quickly, why spend all that money (unless you are a millionare).
I have several replicas and several real designer bags. I never really tell where I get them when people ask (and I never have anyone ask if its real or fake...they just assume its real). I just say something like...name the city where I got it, online, or a friend let me borrow it.
Some replica purses these days are so good, that it really is hard to tell if they are authentic. So, chances are they can't tell either.

LOL! My best friend and I have had this conversation before. When someone complements my "fake" I smile and say, thank you. Rather then saying thanks got on Canal St in NYC. I would rather carry a real designer then a fake one. There is just something about a real one, the quality is nothing like it. I have both and will carry both it doesn't matter to me.
*Edit* I would like to add if someone were to ask me where I got the real or fake, then naturally I would tell them. If they don't ask then why bother telling someone?

Don't you ever think that not everyone can afford to buy "real" designer purse? So, why it's make you better then they are? I don't think so... If nice sweet and intelligent girl have neat clothes and fake but clean purse - she is pretty and attractive to me much more then stupid, designer name "all around" and chicken brain chick....

I don't care about names on my purse - and I never did... If I see something I like - I buy it, doesn’t' matter if it cost $1000 or $10, I have a lot of them and they all unique to me… What matter - It goes with my suit, it's good for the money and I feel good about it... If you buying things only because there are designer’s name on it and you care what you'll say when people ask you "where you got it" - you are just stupid snob... Don’t call your self stylish woman, please… it’s ridiculous… Stylish somebody who has a style, and not somebody who got designer names all around lol...

OK for 1 I get REAL DOONEY & BURKS at TJ macks for alot less like 50% off and stuff. But to get back to the subject I do have a fake prada and when people ask me where I got it I say it's a fake.( the real thing makes you feal better than a fake i learned) Good luck I hope I helped:-)

I HATE IT when people have a fake designer purse and says that it is real, it's like stretching it beyond comprehension....I know a lot of people can't afford them, but don't lie and say it's real!:-@

although i dont own a "fake" purse, i really dont think that the name is accurate. i mean think about it....if a purse looks cute and nice...then does it really matter if its a real designer purse?? and if someone asks you where you got it..you can just say that your not sure....or just straight out say that its a "mock ______(say designers name) purse"

I own no fake designer purses so i couldnt say.
although if i had the need to buy one, i probably wouldnt be ashamed of it. If i was, i wouldnt have bought it in the first place.

Oh well, here goes----I take pride in the fact that the purse I have today costs more than some people's gas bill for the entire winter in Chicago.
