House music is a style of electronic dance music (as said above) that reached the peak of its popularity in the late Eighties and early Nineties. Here's some good examples with links:

House Music is an evolution. It is most fundamentally the direct descendant of Disco which was already an unusually inclusive and dynamic music form with a wide range of influences such as Soul, R&B, Funk, Salsa, Symphonic, Rock and Pop with an extremely progressive social perspective in which diversity was expected and embraced.

House Music, is like let's say your at a Casino Gambling, right. Like Don Laughlin's Riverside's House Music, is always "Oldies" !!! Don Laughlin loves those "Oldies" and there playing in his casino, 24/7!!! That's why all of the Elderly love to go to the Riverside, when they Gamble!! Because he's always got good music playing, and its an "Older Casino" , plus its the first one on the strip! Easy Access, from the 194, or Bullhead City, or Needles highway, depending on which way you come, you always have to pass his Casino, first!! Unless you went down "BigBend" Drive, than there's another entrance that'll take you straight to the Colorado Bell, & Edgewater Casino's...So, yes, its a facilities music, like at a Restaurant, or a Bowling Alley. Those types of places... You know. Smile!!!

Really bad sounds mixed together. Music is a loose term for it, seeing as it is not made with real instuments but rather computers.
