I've never been to Austin, but I went to Phoenix just two days ago. It was 110-111 degrees during the hottest part of the day, and I was fine. I mean, it's hot, but bearable. I would take 110 degrees with very low humidity over 95 degrees with high humidity any day! The humidity makes it feel hotter. Plus Phoenix always has a slight breeze, not that it is a cool breeze.

These two sites should give you the answers you are looking for.

Just type in your zip code, or city in the upper left

As you go about a third of the way down this page there is a section called View the Personal Weather Stations for this area using Google Maps! Click on that and all the weather collecting stations in your area will be mapped out with the temperature, wind, and weather if any. This is current wx but I thought you might like it as well.

And the National Weather Forecast Office site for you can be found at
http://www.weather.gov/climate/index.php?wfo=lwx which says near the top of the page "As part of its ongoing efforts to improve service to the public, The National Weather Service has released a local 3-month temperature outlook. Access the product for your area here." Click where it says "here" to get to the weather office nearest you. This is an excellent site for what you are looking for and will give you temperatures (max and mins) as well as precipitation amts for each month of the year.

typically its GORGEOUS... between 70's and mid-80's... can still be a bit warm during the day, but at night still a little bit of a chill. Just perfect! There can be cooler days, but not terrible. March is a PERFECT time to go visit!

It can be anything from 40 degrees and raining buckets to 95 degrees and sunny and dry.

On average...in the 70s/80s with brief periods of rain possible. This is an El Nino year and we've been having a bit more rain than usual.
