Both in the chloroplasts.
light dependent in thylakoids/grana.
Light independent in the stroma.

well , basically it depends on the nature of the plant. assuming you are talking about C3 plant (the most common) , the light dependent reaction takes place in the thylakoid membrane that is within the chloroplast. the independent light reaction take place in the stroma , a fluid filled chloroplast outside the thylakoid membrane.
