I didn't care for Taxi Driver or Raging Bull. Personally I don't think the guy is all that great of a director. No wonder no Oscars. His best is by far Goodfellas. The guy has built his career on DeNiro's back. But The Rise of Teddy Roosevelt looks very good.

My favorite has to be Goodfellas. Seeing a little guy like Joe Pesci being such a bad ***. Awesome. Oh yeah Scorsese didn't direct 2001: A space Odyssey

that's tough question maybe I can go by decade? taxi driver for the 70's, raging bull for the 80's and goodfella's for the 90's. but i guess if you were going to hold me to one I would have to say Raging Bull

I am with you, probably Raging Bull would come out on top....but those are my top two of his. I like Taxi Driver but it is so very dark and it seems more Paul Schraders (writer) journey than Scorsese's

For me, my favorite is Taxi Driver. Followed close by Raging Bull. His movies are so cool, it's criminal.
