What made the pop singer do such thing?

She is in severe emotional distress. Maybe it is just a case of a person, which is what she is, just a regular human being, not being able to handle fame.
She did want to be noticed by doing what she did, she can't, for some reason say okay I know I need help. She needs the right people in her life not a bunch of yes men, who will do anything to please her, yet don't really care about her well being. Hopefully, her family will intern vein ,she needs an intervention and a real rehab, not a celeb rehab, no pampering.
She also needs to step back and walk away from it all maybe even live less lavishly for a while and find out what life is really all about, not material things and fame, but love, her children and her family, that's what's most important and what is real.

ha yea thatz why i would never want to be a celebrity it's not as great as it looks. you never know what goes on behind close doors with celebrities, one day brit was okay the next day she totally lost it. it's too bad because she's got kids to raise and everything. but if you look in her eyes she looks nuts. i heard she went to rehab one day i don't know what for but she went there for a day and then shaved her head. or it could be an attention thing. but i have never seen someone go down the tubes like she has..thats a shame.

I thought it was kinda weird that she did this. On my way to school I listen to this radio show and they were talking about how she's pretty much hit rock bottom (getting divorced, gaining alot of baby weight) and how they wouldn't be surprised if she did something that would signify a emotional break down.
I think that's what it was. She's just had a break down.

I'm not sure...but I will give you some great money advice...put all ur money on Britney to be the next in the Celebrtiy Death poll...she's spiraling out of control. She was a minx back in the day too....oh well. Money can't buy happiness.

Maybe her hair was in bad condition. Maybe her hair represented womanhood and everything good - and she wanted the world to see that all was not well and help her? God Bless Britney and may God look after this torn child. xx

I think she is one of very few light skin toned women who can pull it off and still look that good, besides its just hair, it'll grow out if she don't like it. And yes i would guess it has something to do with her nerves, but hey better hair that something else.

Personally I think its her way of doing something rebellious, u know we all have times in our lives when we want to make a statement..
If she were'nt a famous singer no-one would batter an eyelid..

Its a shame really, she had eveything, now shes just another screwed up pop star.
