to charge extra for doing the persons laundry,too? It's a family of 3.

I do not charge by the hour..I charge according to square footage.

You need to incorporate it in your hourly rate. You can put things in the machines while you do the other work, and the folding adds on some extra time. Go up on your hourly rate by a dollar or 2.

It costs $1 to dryclean 1 shirt and you need to take it there... a family of three would spend hundreds of dollars doing their laundry outside. You ARE using their machine and water and supplies so it is a labour charge for you but a HUGE convenience for them. I would charge them $50 just to do their laundry in their home with no effort from them except dumping it by the machine. Ironing would be a flat rate of $25 an hour over and above the washing/folding. They trust you in their house to clean so don't let them beat you down on the price because their alternative is much more expensive in time and dollars.
