There are actually 4 body fluid compartments, but one is very small. The three largest are intracellular, interstitial, and plasma. Transcellular is the fourth that is very small and difficult to measure.
Intracellular is the largest. It is all of the fluid in the cells. The average amount of body fluid is 40L. This compartment holds about 25L. Interstitial is the second largest. This is the fluid outside of the blood vessels and it surrounds the cells. This compartment holds about 11L. The third largest is plasma. This is the fluid that is inside blood vessels. It holds about 3L.
Transcellular is bound by epithelial cells. It makes up the cerebrospinal fluid, synovial joints, etc. It holds about 1L.

i would say salvia, blood and water. BUt I am assuming that this is biology homework that you should be doing on your own and it is probably located right in your text if you would read it. Although if I were you I wouldn't take my suggestions as the answers because I might be lying just to teach the youth of today to do their own homework!!! I had to do mine and did very well. Just look it up in your chapters using the index or glossary for the key word fluid.
