Hey all

Clinical Forensic question for you for an essay. I know this isn't the most reliable source but I heard on The Bill a year or two ago the forensic psychologist said killers generally don't cross water to kill or ditch the body. Can anyone tell me who came up with this theory? And if it holds any truth?

Thanks

Think about it. If you are dumping somebody why go across and risk someone seeing you. You come to a place selected by you then in secrecy and hidden from view you dump the body. Why come to a river then cross it on a public bridge to dump, hide or complete your act? If they do, then use this as an insight to their profile becuase this becomes part of the reason of what they are doing - is this part of the excitement or geographically necessary? Subtle questions like this become clues.
