i think it's just what we need. the US will have to live with a minority president or a woman president. the racists and the people who are prejudiced against women will have to live with it, don't you think? i think it might open their eyes a bit if either one of them don't screw up the country worse than Bush has. [no offense to people who like Bush!]

I think there should be a limit on the number of candidates running, on both parties. It should be based on the experience that you have, and not how popular you are with your own race.
The black guy from Illinois is just taking advantage from the unpopular Bush, thinking that the Democrats will automatically win the 2008 election. He should have more experience in politics than what he does. In his own words, he said he didn't know much on how to run Washington. That is not a qualification for the presidents job....he would just mess up the country more than 'ol Bush has.
It has been proven in the media, that Bush has done impeacheable offenses, so why don't we kick him out by impeachment, and try to repair the damage he has done. There are innocent lives lost every day in those foreign countries, while Bush sets in the safety of the White House.
Our soldiers are actually killing women and children over there, and it isn't right. That war over there can be fought without killing little kids. An inexperienced person running for president would just make it worse.

It's going to be a NYC race - Rudy Guilliani versus Hillary Rodham Clinton. With NYC in the mix, there is going to be so much media attention to the race, one would think we live in a one channel communist country. Needless to say the race between Rudy and Hillary is going to be one like we never have seen before. And it won't be the first race between the two. In 2000, Rudy and Hillary both ran for the US Senate seat for New York. Rudy dropped out of the race because he had prostate cancer. He's better now and is ready for the re-match.

Personally, I think Hillary Clinton will run against Rudy Giuliani and I think it will be like 2000 and 2004 which is very close.

Though John McCain is a personal hero of mine his age is a factor that other voters won't overlook. I would vote for McCain but it appears Giuliani is going to be the man with Mitt Romney as VP.

I just hope that we get someone in there that really represents the "joe average American". Someone that will not be afraid to go against the money and power system, for the good of the people.

I'm not against a woman or a minority, just not Hillary or Obama. If I don't agree with their politics, why would I vote for them? Would you vote for a conservative female or conservative black person if you didn't agree with their politics?
