sum1 told me I should do these to get great abs for cheerleading tryouts...and for the summer...but i don't know what they are!!!
please help!

Yup, sure can...we do them all of the time.
Everyone of these starts with you sitting on your behind with
your legs in front of you.

V-up: Put your feet together on the floor. Now lay down flat with your arms above your head. Reach your legs to the tips of your fingers in mid air (toward the ceiling in an inverted V motion)

Tuck up: Put your feet together on the floor with your knees bent. At this point, put your arms at your side. Now reach your knees to your chest while your arms are reaching for your feet. (in a crunch motion)

Straddle up: Same as a V-up on only straddle your legs and reach your arms through the stradle in mid air.

If you are new to these moves, I would start slow, rep of 5 for each for the first week or two. Move on to reps of 10 for the next couple of weeks. You will begin to see an amazing difference in your core strength in about a month!

These are all great for improving jump ability. The v-up will help with pikes and the straddle up with toe touch!

If he's strong enough, then just jump up and lock your legs around his hips and kiss. This is best done in front of a wall where he can at least back you into it for some leverage. But it can't last too long. It's best done sitting face-to-face straddling, or laying down where the "wear factor" isn't so great on strength.

Huh? Just do 100 crunches every day. Ask a personal trainer to show you proper form. Why do some people have to confuse things with a bunch of upity, meaningless details??
