Obviously too late since you already have the hangover, but next time drink water simultaneous to you drinking alcohol...then sleep, a lot.

The headache and blah you feel is two main things:
dehydration
and lack of potassium

Thank the joy and poison that is alcohol for these blessings! HA!

Best bet is to eat a tomato based product... or just a plain tomato and drink water.

Remember that the hangover is the symptom of your body fighting off a poison, treat it well with lots of water!
Spaghetti-O's and those little cans of ravioli work wonders. Gatorade or even that Electrolite loaded baby water you can buy at most grociers will also do the trick.

Stick to purer alcohols as well.. like a high shelf vodka, or, if you're drinking the beer or micro brews... lots of water between drinks!

A little salt in the water doesn't hurt either...

Drink some more!!! I need to get telve points back (that i've lost for a Yahoo! Answers violation)... Dire Straits' "Heavy Fuel" will help you to cure your hangover "...last time i was sober man i felt bad worst hangover that i've ever had...it took six hamburgers and scotch all night nicotine for breakfast just to put me right..."
Next time- Take aspirin and drink some water before going to sleep!!! Make certain to eat, too... I always crave milk the next day (for some reason)... Hope that you're feeling better!!!

The best thing is just to treat the symptoms at this stage. Headache: Ibuprofen, prefferably with codeine, Diarrhea: Imodium, etc. And drink water.

But while you're drinking you can prevent a hangover by drinking LOTS of water. This pretty much always works for me and everyone I ever drink with... Drink a glass of water for every glass of alcohol and you'll never get a hangover.

I say drink lots of water before you goto bed and when you wake up in the morning. I think that a hangover is from dehydration if you have b vitamins they will really help you out too.

The bad headache is mainly caused by dehydration so take in plenty of fluids. Especially diluted orange juice. this will rehydrate you and the vitamin C will refresh your ailing body as well! Make sure you dilute it though otherwise the acid might make your upset stomach worse.

A hair of the dog is also a way of getting rid of it, i'd recommend Guiness as the Iron seems to put a nice cosy lining on your stomach.

Poached eggs on toast is also a good way to stop the sickness

there is no cure - only prevention.

next time, drink water through the night. drink at least the same amount of water as alcohol.
before you go to bed, drink a least 1 litre of water. preferrably more if you can.
also, i eat a vegemite sandwich. you might not want to do this unless you are an aussie, so try to find something that has a lot of salt and vitamin b - cause this is what is in vegemite, so i am assuming it is one of those that you need.

Plenty of water. Obiously . .lol

Ok best thing iv come accross especialy if you have to work or do something is get some Breweres Yeast tablets (vitamin b complex basicaly).. strongest you can find. But make sure you take them with food otherwise they wont do that much (to do with how its ingested).. Chocolate helps to a degree cos of the energy.

If you dont have to do anything etc then rest is obviously a great hearler but iv found i might feel crap for ages but as soon as i exert myself abit i start to feel better.. What i mean is you may be lying in bed feeling like death but if you get up and do something you may start to feel abit better.. But obviously if you do to much youll just get knackered.. so figure out what is the best combination for you.

My mate tries to drink atleast a pint of water before he goes to bed after drinking and it helps reduce his hangover. But make sure you are not so fucked that you wont wake up when that works through your system!!!

Try to eat alot before you start drinking, always helps

When I USED to get hangovers, I craved greasy food, especially scambled eggs and cheese. Drink lot's of water and Gatorade helps. Or V8.
Next time you're drinking, get plenty of water and be sure to take a multivitamin before you go to bed, especially B vitamins.
