You don't have anything to prove to anyone but you. You live life according to your own ideas. That is the right way to live.

That's a real subjective question, Travis. I'll give you my version...
The "right way?" Having some sense of sympathy and charity, cause there's a whole lot of "broken" people out there - "broken" through no real fault of their own. That, and most of us aren't that wealthy that we're not a couple paychecks and a catastrophic illness away from living in a homeless shelter.
Basically, you could call me a hedonist. I enjoy the pleasures of life; good food, music, sex, spirits, natural beauty, friends, family, etc. You can click my profile and check out my blog.
I cannot "prove" my lifestyle to anyone. I will say that I know a lot of other people like myself, but that doesn't necessarily justify anything.
I'll say this. As much as I love sex, there is no "slippery slope" that leads to perversity. As much as I love food, I only weigh 180 lbs. Some folks have no self-control.
As much as I love spirits and herb, I never ended up in the gutter with a needle in my arm. Again; a matter of self-control. Some got it and some aint.
I feel sorry (for about 30 sec.) for those fundie up-tights that have to live a "restricted" life. Hey, to each their own, I say...but some folks just limit their pleasures unnecessarily.

The right way to live is different for everybody. I feel that the one thing that should apply to everybody though, no matter how they choose to live is to ensure it doesn't harm anyone else in the process. Can I prove it? Nope. Just seems like common sense to me. But there will be those who will think differently. And that's okay.
