why does george bush use "the google" (earth) to see his ranch when he should have access to all the high tech satellites and government imaging programs? he still uses googles? does it make any sense?

Bush is barely aware of what is going on around him.

His handlers keep him on a pretty short leash, but occasionally he tries to 'ad lib' some lines, and the results are always either f'ing hilarious, or totally sad.

The fact that he has been in the same position as great leaders like Washington and Lincoln is a tragedy for every man woman and child in the US.

He will be gone soon, but his legacy will live on - massive debt that our childrens grandchildren will still be paying, just so he could play 'war preznit'.

F**k him, and f**k anyone who supports him.

I wonder how bush pronounces "google"?

But otherwise, maybe he was looking for Cindy Sheehan?

And didn't want the people at the NSA to know?

For the answerer above me, spy satellites are in the minority in that they are in continuous motion relative to the Earth's rotation. That is why one satellite can see different spots on Earth.

Otherwise, the satellite would only be able to take pictures of one ranch...what a waste of money. If you see a moving dot in the night sky, it is either the ISS, or a spy satellite.

It is the communication and navigation satellites that remain stationary. I think the term is "geosynchronous" orbit...but don't quote me on that.

Yes it does make sense as not all satellites can do what he does with Google. There are spy satellites owned by the US but most of those would not be over the US. Just because he is the President doesn't mean he has absolute control over all satellites owned by the US. He can request info but that doesn't mean he is going to get it.

Listen, This Man Is A Retard. All he wants is to show he is using the average man technology, but he might use government satellites for his own use. He claims that the war has given us power. The War was already started, and yet he did not warn us. I have another question. Are we the ones who started the war first ?

I don't know why he has to google the ranch. He is there more than he is at the White House. Perhaps he should google the White House.

Waste of high tech resources so that he can enjoy looking at his ranch on satelite could be considered abuse of authority.

He might also be curious what the public can see on it. I've looked up my own property to see how close the images are.

because google is easy and free, and he doesn't have to involve anyone else. Well, except the person who shows him how to use the computer each time go goes online.LOL ;-)
