You wouldn't know you had herpes until you have a breakout. And don't believe someone just because they say they are clean. Even someone that you love and trust may not realize they have contracted an STI. Go with him and both of you should get tested for everything. If he gives you any speechs, including, "Don't you trust me?" or "Do you want to get tested because you cheated on me?" Punch him in the face because he is a jerk. Or convince him that you just want to be safe.
It's important to be aware of your partner's STI status--you don't want to catch anything and you certainly don't want to be spreading any STI's. While you can get a variety of STIs via oral, HIV is very difficult because your stomach acid usually kills the virus, but make him get tested before you go any further. Just some advice.

Judging from your lack of articulation it would seem there is a good chance you may have contracted heres or some other social desase from your experience. I would suggest you don't rely on trust so much and try work on establishing the facts [e.g. what is the medical histroy of the one you just had sex with?] before enganging in activites that result in the exchange of body fluids. You will live longer. For the immediate purpose I would suggest you go to the nearest medical clinic and get tested and if you are lucky....change your behavior in the future.

Well, if you are unsure or just want to be on the safe side, go to your local health department and both of you get tested. Herpes can be noticeable if they are flared up, looking like a wart or some sort of raw sore on the genitals. You can get flavored condoms for future oral sex in the future.

i had a roommate in college who got herpes, so stop being careless. do you have any reason to think that he has herpes? if you get herpes from oral, believe me you will know! If you get it from regular sex, it might not be apparent to you at all for many years, so take responsible precautions. if there is any question in your mind, go to the doc. you could infect other people unknowingly. how would you feel about yourself if you found out that you had gone and infected others because you decided to blow off going to the doc?

uhh...if he says hes clean, why would you think you have herpes?
and if he does have herpes (even if hes not going thru an outbreak) he CAN give it to you.
if you think he might have herpes, or any STD for that matter, you should be EXTREMELY cautious having sex or any kind of "fooling around". go to the doctor and have an exam, jus to make sure. you wouldnt want to have an STD and not know about it, because that could cause infertility.
good luck

Go to your gynecologist and get tested, or if you don't want to tell your parents or you don't have a gynecologist, you can visit a Planned Parenthood Clinic, where you can get safely, professionally, and confidentially get tested, without needing to tell your parents. Find a planned parenthood near you:

At the very top, look in Find a Health Center Near You. Good Luck!

You spell worse then me. Why do you suspect him of having herpes? Did you see blisters around his junk? If you did good luck with that. If not then who knows you can go see the doctor, or wait and see. I wish you the best.

number one for a relationship to work you need faith and to have faith is believing what he says. but he might not know or something... i suggest to get both of you checked by a doctor that way you both know for sure and you can get yourself checked and he wont think that you think he lied
