I read the reviews before I went to see it, but I'm a comic book fan and critics have almost never liked comic book movies. I thought it was pretty damn good. I was not familiar with the story much (I'm a DC guy) but loved the scene with the 2 ghost riders riding together. If you like action and good effects (and a luscious Eva Mendes) then you'll like it. Good story, good acting, good production values. Not a great movie but totally enjoyable.
(I don't think they should make a second one though)

Ghost Rider was not the best show ever. Nic Cage basically does the same quirky, cooky southern act in every movie he's in. Eva Mendes was wasted, while I love to look at her I hated her in this movie. The CGI was horrible and so was the lame demon voice they they The Ghost Rider. I want to call attention to the particularly obvious use of CGI in the scene that shows Nic Cage's Johnny Blaze with the amazing abs and upper body...that couldn't have been any more fake if they put out one of the carboard cutouts of the strong men at the carnivals and had Nic put his head through it and do the scene.

Despite the bad reviews, it raked in $44 mil the first week. I do not pay attention to the critics. I haven't heard anything personally about the movie. Wait another week and see how the box office is for the movie. The first week is usually hipe. The next few weeks people have heard first hand. Then you know.

That movie was bad... very bad... it had a few moments, but thats about it. They should have gotten someone else instead of Nic Cage. Thankfully 300 and Spider-man 3 will make up for it.

A kid in my class today said he went to saw it and was like don't. I personally dont wish to see because I don't think Nicholas Cage is a good actor. Plus looking from the trailer...it looks like a buch of cheesy one liners. No thank you. Sorry If you enjoyed it more power to you but its just not a movie I would like.
