CA minimum wage is 7.50

Oakland has a 'living wage'. which is slightly more.

The new wage hike went into effect in Jan 2007 & made CA's minimum wage $7.50 an hour. I am not sure why all the protests in Oakland to make federal minumum wage $7.15 - it did not affect all the people protesting in Oakland.

Not sure, but I thought it was around $12/hour for all of CA.
