Some people seem to think a Mac that has an Intel processor is the same as a Windows computer but that's not true. Although you can install Windows XP or Vista on an Intel Mac, you cannot easily install Mac OS on a Windows computer.

At this time, the most common way to use Mac OS on a Windows box is with an immulator. That means it won't be as smooth or fast as Mac OS on a Mac. Links below for a couple of immulators.

Another source says you can build your own "PC" and it will allow installation of Mac OS or Windows. How do you choose the OS you want to startup? Don't know. It would have to be a newer style of Windows box that uses EFI rather than BIOS because Mac OS uses EFI for startup.

The same source says a Dell Dimension 4600 will allow installation of Mac OS. I haven't tried it. Again, I wonder how you choose the OS that you want for the startup.
