It is relly impossible to know the mark you would leave because that would have to do with other people perception of you and your accomplishments. Also, it would depend how you die. Most of our lives are not complete yet and therefore our mark on humanity is unknown and imcomplete. We may be on our way but we have not made it to the top of the mountain yet.

Why would I need to leave a mark at all?

Why would I want to "leave a mark"? I'm not a cat. I'd rather just make the most of my own life.

About the only mark I'd make is someone would have to deal with the dead body.

I would not, as the notion of "traces" of existence is but a fallacy. The only way anyone lives on beyond their death is in the memory of those who knew them, and through any works of theirs that survive the relatively short period we generally regard as time.

Possibly on the same spot where my body expired.
The last act of human life is 'elimination'.

By the people that I know, and have helped, and by my son. I am always telling him that he is the only great thing that I will ever be a part of.
