Disconnect the AV cables from your TV and insert them into the VCR Input slots.

Change the VCR mode to "Line-In" or "Line-Input". This might be done with the remote or might actually be a switch on the VCR itself.

Now pop in a tape hit record and enjoy.

I know a guy who does this, after the fake "Mario 3 in 11 minutes flat" came out, he was bound and determined that he could do it too. I think the closest he came was around 12.5-13 minutes. He can also do Metroid in under 40 minutes. Cool stuff. In the age of YouTube, there's definitly a market for this kind of thing. I think it's a really good way of showing off your talents at a game. Another friend of mine recently bowled a 300 on Wii sports, he took a cell phone pic of his score but it's not the same, more people should record their games. Rock on dude!

just connect your game system up to your vcr, voila, tape as you would anything else. i did this to record the ending of final fantasy 3 on the snes. if you have a newer system you have to rememeber to hook up both the audio and the video, no surround sound or anything unfortunately.

hope this helps :-)

yeah i used to do it all the time just hook your video game console up to your VCR. Then record you have to send the signal from the VCR to the TV in order for it to work!

Tape video games? Who the hell does that, including you? I've know people tape vidoes/TV shows, but not video games! Why do you even wanna tape it, anyway?

Yes. If your system is plugged into the "AV" channel, just set your VCR to tape that channel.

yes, sit the camera on a tripod and make sure the zoom is good. Stay away from the front of the camera and play.
