I don't know how long you have been trying to get pregnant. If it has been more than 6 months, contact your doctor. My friend had trouble getting pregnant and she was having sex like 4 times a day. It turned out to be a harmless cyst in one of her ovaries that was blocking the egg from getting fertilized.
I've also read that if the woman has an orgasm it actually increases the chance of pregnancy. It has something to do with hormones released during an orgasm. I guess that could explain how when couples try to have a baby and they might just have scheduled mechanical sex they don't get pregnant. But when they give up on having a baby and just relax and the wife has an orgasm they do get pregnant.
Also check your husband out. Maybe there might be something up with his sperm. Maybe they are poor swimmers or the semen does not have the right consistency in order to survive in the acidic uterus. Have him checked out also. There are many options that can be done to help his sperm fertilize the egg.
I'll pray for you. Take Care.
Just keep on trying.

Honey pregnancy can take the first time to the first year. How long have you been trying? everything has to be "just right" for you to be able to concieve. Ive read plenty of books and have done plenty of research on this topic. I am now 4 1/2 months pregnant. You just cant try too hard. When you are having sex dont think of it as, im making a baby. Thats not the way to go about it. Think of it as, im making love to the one I love. If you are meant to have a child with this man then you will. It may take months, it may take years. I wish you good luck, but dont push it.

Some people it just takes time. If your stressing over getting pregnant then its probably making it harder to get pregnant. I heard when you stop trying is when you usually get pregnant, because the stress is straining you. Some people get pregnant right away and some are not as lucky and take many years. If your worried and don't get pregnant by a year maybe you should talk to a doctor. I was reading somewhere that there is only a 20% chance you can get pregnant each month, try eatting healthier, if you smoke try quitting, and take pregnancy vitamin pills, and maybe that will help.

If you've been charting and TTC 6 months or less, don't worry yet. There is only a 25-30% chance of concieving on a given cycle. If it's been more than 6 months, talk to your doctor. They can analyze your husband's semen to determine if his fertility is the problem.
Another thing to look at is the length of your luteal phase.

Low sperm count, blocked tubes, anything. Even if conditions are perfect, you only have a slim chance of timing everything perfectly. Give yourself 6 months of this and then make an appointment with a fertility specialist. Get your husband checked first because it's cheaper and easier and once you eliminate him as a cause, you can concentrate on what's going on with you. It could just be a hormone imbalance. Good luck.

Try not having sex for 3 days before you ovulate. Will make his sperm count that much higher.
Unfortunately some times when you try too hard it doesn't work. Try forgetting about it for a few months and try & relax. You'll likely get pregnant when you least expect to.

2 other main factors come to mind--male factor or tubal blockage. Has your husband had a semen analyasis done to see if his sperm are normal and have you had an HSG to check your tubes and make sure they are open.
