No, it does not seem right. Now you would think that he would be more concerned with saving your life rather than receiving compensation for 1 hour of pay. I would get another, more compassionate psychiatrist. I hope you get things figured out. The world needs you! :)

Sounds like he cares more about money than he does about you. Pretty damn insensitive for a person that is supposed help your self esteem.
